This Privacy Policy explains how Lacuna, LLC ("Lacuna," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit lacunafire.com (the "Site") or contact us through it.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you request a quote, apply for a role, or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you choose to submit. Through our request-a-quote form this may include your name, company, email address, phone number, project name and location, building or occupancy type, target timeline, the services you're interested in, any message you provide, and any project files you upload (such as plans, drawings, and specifications). When you apply for a position, we collect the contents of your application, including your résumé and any information you send by email.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and to operate the Site. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking on the Site.
Cookies
The Site does not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. We self-host our fonts, icons, and assets and do not embed third-party trackers. Any cookies used are strictly necessary to operate the Site.
How we use information
- To respond to your request, prepare a scope and quote, and provide our services;
- To communicate with you about your project or application;
- To evaluate candidates for open positions;
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site; and
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us operate the Site and business, only as needed for them to provide their services to us:
- Google LLC — we store project files you upload using Google Drive;
- Our email delivery provider — to send and receive project and administrative email;
- Our hosting provider — to host and deliver the Site.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services, communicate with you, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us at support@lacunafire.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (for example, residents of certain U.S. states). We will honor the rights that apply to you and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transfer of uploaded files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and we will update the "last updated" date above.

4. Project submissions
When you upload plans, drawings, specifications, or other materials through the Site, you retain ownership of those materials. You grant Lacuna a limited license to access, store, and review them for the purpose of responding to your request and providing our services. We treat submitted project materials as confidential and use them only for that purpose.
5. No professional advice
Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute engineering, code, or legal advice, and does not create a client or professional relationship. Applicable codes, adopted editions, and local amendments vary by project and jurisdiction. Do not rely on Site content in place of a project-specific engagement.
6. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.
